Teachers — how do you come up with ideas for your lesson packs?

Imran Hashmi Imran Hashmi 15 May 2026 1 Liked this

I’ve been teaching web development for a while, mostly one-off sessions, but now I’m trying to create more structured lesson packs.

My question for other teachers:

How do you usually decide what to include in a pack?

Do you build packs around:

  • beginner learning paths?
  • common student problems?
  • specific tools like React, Figma, Photoshop?
  • career outcomes like “Build your first portfolio”?

Would love to hear how experienced teachers structure their sessions.

For UI/UX, I structure packs around outcomes. Example: “Design your first mobile app in 5 sessions.”

I build beginner → intermediate → advanced packs. Makes upselling easier and students know what comes next.

Honestly, I just look at what students struggle with most. portfolio building, interviews, APIs and build packs around those pain points.
